For a long time, my writing has lived in scattered places: notes apps, email drafts, and documents I forgot to finish. This site is an attempt to give all of it one home, with a layout that puts the words first.

The design borrows the visual language of a newspaper. A masthead at the top, thin rules between sections, a headline that sets the tone, and a column of text that is comfortable to read at length. Nothing decorative competes with the story.

What will live here

I plan to publish three kinds of pieces. Short notes on things I am learning, longer essays that try to connect a few ideas, and reported pieces when I have gone out and talked to people. Some will be polished. Some will be thinking out loud.

The archive is the best place to start if you are new. It lists everything in one place, newest first, and each entry has a short summary so you can decide what is worth your time.

The goal is simple: a quiet, readable place for the things I want to say.

There is no comment section and no algorithm. If something here is useful, you can send it to someone who might think so too. That is enough of a distribution system for now.

Thanks for reading. The next post will be a real one.
